Ende November sind wir im Studio, um an neuem Material zu arbeiten. Während wir dort sind, werden wir auch fünf oder sechs unserer liebsten swingenden Weihnachtslieder aus den 1930er und 40er Jahren aufnehmen. Das Studio selbst ist komplett mit Technik und Mikrofonen aus dieser Zeit ausgestattet. Freut Euch also auf Aufnahmen, die besonders warm klingen, als würdet Ihr eine alte Schellackplatte hören, während das Holz im Kamin knistert und draußen vor dem Fenster leise der Schnee fällt.
Und so geht’s:
Ihr könnt die Karte schon jetzt bestellen und wir verschicken sie Anfang Dezember. Ab dem 3. Advent (15.12.24) stehen die Aufnahmen mit dem Link und dem Passwort von der Weihnachtskarte zum Download bereit.
PS: Die Karte ist wie ein Weihnachtsrubbellos gestaltet und Ihr müsst das Passwort unter den Rubbelfeldern suchen. Aber keine Sorge! Jede Karte gewinnt und Ihr bekommt natürlich alle Songs!

*EP = Steht für "Extended Play" und bezeichnet eine Musikaufnahme, die länger ist als eine Single, aber weniger Titel enthält als ein Album.

Get this very special christmas card from the Bad Mouse Orchestra to download our Christmas EP!
In the end of November we are in the studio to work on new material and while we are there, we will also record five or six of our favorite, very swingy and quite obscure christmas tunes from the 1930s and 40s. The studio itself is fully equipped with technology and microphones from that era so you can expect these recordings to sound extra warm, like listening to an old gramophone record while the wood is crackling in the fireplace and snow is falling softly outside the window.
How exactly does it work?
You order the card now and we will ship it in the beginning of December. On the 15th of December the recordings will become availale for download with the link and password you find on the christmas card.
PS: The card is designed as a Christmas lottery card and you get to search for the password under scratch-off panels. But don't worry! Every card wins!
